Buy 53 Arena Resources (ARD) @ $47.48

Started a position in :

  1. 3rd ranked member in IBD’s top ranked group
  2. 3 of the top 5 in the group have had big gains in the past few daysm including CLR whose been a market leader since the rally started
  3. reported earnings that beat analyst estimates.
  4. up +4%  this morning on above avg. volume before the conference call

Sell 104 Arena Resources (ARD) @ $49.82

Sold all :

  1. Better stocks in the same group going up in higher volume
  2. Volume hasn’t kicked in on the rebound from its 50 DMA, and thought I could get a stronger stock.

Buy 25 Arena Resources (ARD) @ $50.47

Added to position in :

  1. Still within +5% of buypoint in rebound from 50 DMA
  2. Was down about -2% in light volume, so I thought it was a good time to buy
  3. Already up +5% on
  4. Don’t see oil prices falling anytime soon

  1. Moved +2% from my original buypoint
  2. Still well within buying range of $49.45 buypoint of rebound from 50 day moving avg.
